How To Register for an Adventure Race

We've done a lot of things to improve the Pangea website, but in this article we'll focus on how to register for a race. No matter if you're new to racing or a seasoned veteran, here is what to expect when registering for an adventure race with Pangea Adventure Racing.

1. All teams are required to login in order to register for a race

We've done this to save you lots of time. Your team profile and race profile is now saved online, making registration much faster. We even save your previous team configuration, so if you're racing with the same teammates, we pre-fill that for you when you register for your next race.

If you have raced with us before, we've actually saved your information from the old site. All you'll need to do is retrieve your lost password. Your username is your first and lastname together (JohnDoe or JaneDoe) and your email is whatever email address previously provided. If you don't receive an email to reset your password, please contact us and provide us with your correct email address and we'll make sure it's associated with your profile. When you are able to login, be sure to update your personal profile to make sure your Tshirt size is correct and other details that may be used for race day.

If you haven't raced with us before, you simply need to create a racer profile.

2. Once Logged in, select an upcoming event to register

Once you have logged in and selected the race you'd like to register for, simply click the 'register now' button and follow the details for registration.

Step 1: Select Race Division

Select the number of teammates and which division you'd like to race in.

Step 2: Select or Create Team

If you have raced with us before, you can select from a previous team you've raced with, or create a new team. Depending on who is on your team, you'll need to select the appropriate gender classification. This is usually filled out automatically for you if you've raced before, as it brings up your last race configuration.

Step 3: Select or Modify Teammates

Whoever is registering for the race must be the race captain for that race. You'll have the ability to add the rest of your teammates from their existing profiles. IMPORTANT: YOU MUST HAVE A MEMBER PROFILE TO SELECT A TEAMMATE. If you'd like to race with someone who doesn't have a member profile, they need to create one in order to complete registration.

Step 4: Select Paymet Method

We offer two options of payment: PayPal or Check.

If you pay by PayPal, your registration is automatic and will be posted usually within the same day on the leaderboard. In some cases, PayPal may take a day or so to verify, but rest assured that your registration is in process and will be posted to the site.

If you pay by Check, your registration is also automatic... well, mostly. Your team will be added once payment is received and processed. Depending on when it is mailed, it may take a few business days to be listed on the site.

If you have a promo code, you'll also enter it on this page. Your promo will automatically be applied and confirm the discount on the following confirmation page.

3. Confirmation and happy racing

Once you've successfully registered for a race, you will receive a confirmation email and you're all set. Happy Racing!
