The Florida Orienteering Club (FLO) is dedicated to promoting the sport of Orienteering in the Central Florida area. The skills they promote for map and compass reading translate very well into Pangea Adventure Races. We are happy to work alongside them and consider their events as a great introduction and practice for our races. Their website, specifically their Tutorial section, is also a great resource for learning about orienteering.
FLO usually has an event once a month at a state park in Central Florida. There are several different courses at each event for varying skill levels. You may start on your course anywhere between 10:00 to 13:00 on event days. Park entry fees may apply and the cost of a map is $6 for non-members which can be used for your entire team. Please review Rules for Participation beforehand.
