Hi,

Do you know how wide the canoes are? I am looking to pickup a canoe seat for some of the longer canoe portions.

Nate majority of our canoes are Mowhawk intrepid 16' and we will have other as well with very similar dimensions. The Beam at gunwale is 36″. We use http://store.oldtowncanoe.com/products/314096/Snap_in_Center_Seat center seats however do not have enough to supply for this event. Many teams utilize a collapsible center seat.

Thanks, what I meant to ask was the width of the current seats in the canoe?

I hope to buy a "clip-in" seat/seat back that I can tie down over the existing seat.
